Mary Ann Lumba is a SAG-Eligible Filipina-American actor based in Los Angeles, with experience in film, television, commercial work, and theater. She has appeared in independent films, stage productions in West Hollywood, commercial work, and television, and continues to build a body of work across dramatic and character-driven roles.

 

In addition to acting, Mary Ann is a filmmaker. She wrote, produced, and starred in the award-winning short film Beyond Words, which has received recognition at film festivals internationally, including awards for Best Short Film and Best Actress. Her experience both in front of and behind the camera gives her a strong understanding of storytelling, character, and the collaborative filmmaking process.

 

Mary Ann is also an experienced martial artist and holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with additional training in Shotokan Karate and boxing. Her martial-arts background adds physical confidence, discipline, and versatility to her work, including roles requiring movement, action, or stage combat.
